BackToRoad Auto Parts carries used Mitsubishi parts for a wide range of models, from daily drivers like the Outlander, Lancer, and Mirage to older favorites like the Galant, Montero, Eclipse, and Endeavor. Whether you’re replacing a worn transmission in a 2015 Outlander or tracking down a part for a first-generation Eclipse, our inventory covers engines, transmissions, drivetrain components, electrical parts, headlights and taillights, mirrors, and body panels.
Used parts matter more for some Mitsubishi models than others. The Eclipse was discontinued after the 2012 model year, the Lancer and Lancer Evolution went out of production in 2017, and the Montero hasn’t been sold in the US since 2006. Once a model is out of production for a while, dealer parts supply for it thins out fast, and new OEM parts for these cars are either hard to find or priced accordingly. That’s exactly where a used part sourced from a comparable donor vehicle makes sense, since it’s the same factory part at a fraction of the cost, and often the only realistic option left.
Some of what we carry is stocked directly and ready to ship. For less common requests, our Find My Part tool searches a nationwide network of certified recyclers, so a part that isn’t sitting on our shelves today can usually still be located within a day or two, each one checked against your vehicle’s VIN before it goes out.
Mitsubishi Used Parts For Sale in BackToRoad Auto Parts
Finding the right used Mitsubishi part usually means one of two things: digging through classifieds and local salvage yards yourself, or handing the search to someone who already knows where to look. BackToRoad Auto Parts is built for the second option.
Enter your Mitsubishi’s year, make, model, and the part you need into our Find My Part tool, and we’ll match it against our own stock and our network of certified recyclers across the US and Canada. If you’d rather talk it through, our parts specialists are on the phone at 1-800-608-3868 and can confirm the right part using your VIN, useful if you’re not sure whether your Mitsubishi has the transmission or engine variant you think it does, or whether a trim-specific part will actually bolt in.
Once you place an order, the part is pulled and matched against your VIN, then goes through a 24-hour inspection before it ships, catching anything a first pass might have missed. It ships to you or directly to your mechanic, whichever is easier, and it’s backed by our standard 30-day warranty from the date of purchase. Most orders go out within a day or two of confirmation, and our team can give you a shipping estimate specific to your part and location when you call.
Whether you’re restoring a project Eclipse or just need your daily-driver Outlander back on the road, place your order online or by phone, and we’ll take it from there.
Most Requested Mitsubishi Parts
These are the parts our specialists get asked about most.
Engines
The most common requests are for the Outlander’s four-cylinder and V6 options, along with the Lancer Evolution’s engine. The Evo ran Mitsubishi’s 4G63 turbo four-cylinder from 1992 through 2006, Evo I through IX, the same cast-iron-block engine found in the Eclipse GSX, Eagle Talon, and Galant VR-4 from that era. Evo X switched to a different engine in 2007, the 4B11T, and the two aren’t interchangeable, so confirm which generation you have before ordering. Used Mitsubishi engines through us typically run somewhere between $1,500 and $3,000, depending on the model, generation, and mileage of the donor vehicle.
Transmissions
CVT replacements for the Outlander, Lancer, and Mirage are the most requested transmission parts we handle. Mitsubishi issued a recall in 2016 covering roughly 80,000 Outlander and Lancer vehicles after owners reported hesitation and delayed acceleration in the CVT, and a broader class-action lawsuit followed in 2021 covering CVT complaints across the Outlander, Outlander Sport, Lancer, Mirage, and Eclipse Cross from the 2014 to 2019 model years. If you’re buying a used CVT, ask what year and mileage it came from, ideally something built after Mitsubishi’s fix. The older 4-speed and 5-speed automatics used in the Lancer, Mirage, Galant, and earlier Outlander don’t carry the same reputation and tend to hold up well past 150,000 miles. Transmissions typically run $650 to $900.
ABS modules
A failing ABS module is one of the more common electrical complaints we hear, especially on higher-mileage Outlanders and Lancers, usually showing up as a warning light or a module that won’t communicate with the vehicle’s computer. We test each unit before it ships rather than relying on a visual check alone.
Headlight and taillight assemblies
Popular for the Lancer, Outlander, and Eclipse, especially for owners replacing cracked or fogged housings instead of dealing with a full aftermarket swap. Headlight design changed with nearly every facelift, so check your exact model year against the part before ordering.
Alternators and electrical components
A steady request across most Mitsubishi models, particularly the Outlander and Galant, along with instrument clusters and power window switches on older Eclipse and Lancer models, where these parts tend to wear with age.
Suspension and steering
Power steering pumps, control arms, and radiators are common maintenance-related replacements on Mitsubishis past 100,000 miles, especially the Outlander and Outlander Sport, given how many are still on the road.
